Your Chapter is run by an elected Board of Directors all of whom are listed inside each monthly Newsletter. Other positions on the Board are appointed. This body of approximately 20 volunteers is responsible for the planning of the Chapter's activities, financial administration, educational programs, newsletter, membership recruiting and retention, and a number of essential activities that support the goals of NCMA.

Received B.I.S. degree in Procurement & Contracts Administration from GMU. Received an M.A. in Procurement and Acquisitions Management from Webster University. Over 16 years of Federal Government service: National Science Foundation, DOJ/U.S. Attorney’s Office, Army Corps of Engineers, and NASA Shared Services Center. Currently a Contracting Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lifetime member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, currently serving as Secretary of the San Antonio Alumnae Chapter. Past President and Secretary for the NCMA Mardi Gras Chapter in New Orleans, LA.
Received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Currently a Contracting Officer for the VA in Austin. Holds both C.P.M. & CFCMCertifications, is an NCMA Fellow, and holds both FAC-C and DAWIA Level III Certifications. Has held numerous positions including Programs Chair and Professional Development Chairs for NCMA and NAPMChapters - and was President, and Newsletter Editor, of the New Orleans Chapter of NCMA before moving to Austin. Has been a guest speaker for NCMA, the Texas Association for Public Purchasers, and the City of Round Rock. Has 31+ years of Federal Service, including 8 years of Active Duty Military.
Is a Procurement Analyst for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Over 25 years of experience in federal government contracting: the Department of the Air Force at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas; the San Antonio Air Logistics Center at Kelly Air Force Base, and the Air Force Standard Systems Group at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama. Is a member of the NCMA Alternative Dispute Resolution Community of Interest and was the President of the Lone Star Chapter of NCMA in Austin for 2007-2008. He has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Management from Wichita State University and a Master of Acquisition Management from American Graduate University.



Received B.I.S. degree in Physical Education from New Mexico State University. Received a Coaching License for the state of New Mexico K-12. Over 15 years of Federal Government service: Long Beach VA Medical Center, Net Work Business Center, Lincoln National Forest, and VA Medical Center Albuquerque, NM. Currently a Contract Specialist for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Served 5.5 years in the Navy as a Storekeeper Second Class/Master at Arms. Director of Basketball Operations New Mexico State University Men’s basketball program for over 3 years. Member of Lions Club, Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, National Hispanic Historical Society of New Mexico. Former Scout Master.

Retired with disability from the Air Force, in the Information Management career field, after 16 ½ years of service. Used the GI Bill to finish college while working in Civil Service for the Air Force. Has over 25 years of Federal Service. Currently the Executive Assistant ant Notary for the Contracts, Soldier & Vehicle Solutions for BAE Systems for the past 11 years. Joined NCMA in 2005 to support the BAE Systems Contracts Department with their participation in the Lone Star Chapter.
